Can my new TV use an Xbox 360 HD vga av cable?

  • hi i just bought a new 42" 1080 lcd tv but have the old xbox 360 core model from when i purchased it in 2006, it doesn't support hdmi but can use the xbox 360 hd component av cable OR hd vga av cable. Your TV has component video input on the back along with the audio input It also has a VGA in I don't have the output info of a 2006 xbox 360. It is probably in support on the Microsoft site. If you add a link to the old manual, it is just a matter of knowing the outputs. The TV has plenty of input capability. If it doesn't work for video, your problem is analog output from the XBOX and digital-only input to the TV, but VGA would normally weak; though component video should be better. The TV will support both component av cable and vga cable Component might give less lag, vga may be sharper picture but may not have the correct aspect ratio so may stretch the video
