What are the broadcasting HDTV Standards?

-
Answer:
720P, 1080I both signals. 720P is for sports, 1080I is for the rests. 720P means progressive, i.e. good for motion such as video games and sports. 1080I means interlaced, allowing more dots and therefore a larger surface. 1080P (you will see this on some tv sets) is for video games (PS3, Xbox) and high definition DVDs. There is just too much info to be sent by standard transmission for movies and sports over a tv channel.
