Sony dvp-ns57p cd/dvd player. apex tv. anyone know the remote code?

I just got a sony dvp-ns57p cd/dvd player. i have an apex tv from more than 5 years ago. the manual doesn't have the remote code for apex tvs. did anyone figure one out? i tried the toshiba one (07) and it turns the tv on/off and changes the volume, but the channel buttons dont work. does anyone know a code that will allow all buttons to work? please help. thank you in advance. i'll try to give as many pts as i can to the best answer.

Some remotes have functions that only work on some TV's. I have a GoVideo remote that came with my GoVideo VR4940. The remote has a TV Input button, and it that button only works on my Toshiba TV, not my Hitachi TV. What is happening in your case is normal.
