You will require: an antenna source, a coaxial cable, and audio / visual cables. Connect the incoming signal to the ANT IN jack on the rear of the VCR using a coaxial cable. With the color coded audio / visual cable, then connect the AUDIO OUT and VIDEO OUT on the VCR to the AUDIO IN and VIDEO IN on the television. Note that by using this connection method, you will be required to change the Input Mode or Channel on your television. Consult your Owner's Manual for instructions on setting up the VCR and, if necessary, performing the Channel Set-Up procedure. To record (1) Place tape in VCR (2) Go to programming (3) Set the date and day you want to record (4) then move over to next column and set start time (5) then move over to next column and set end time (6) then move over to next column and set channel (7) then move over to next column and set spd Then click set or end or whatever word your VCR uses to put in place the programming Also if you have cable don't forget to set the cable box as well.
First of all, make sure that you have a coaxial cable coming from the cable source, going into the coaxial input in your VCR. Then, put your VCR on the proper channel, insert a blank VHS tape, and press the REC (Record) button, and it will start recording. Most VCR's allow you to set a programmed recording, which will automatically record at the time that you tell it to record. Refer to the Owner's Manual of your VCR for more information on Timed Recording.

1.) Put a blank tape into the VCR 2.) Put on the show you want to watch 3.) Press the red "Record" button that should be on your VCR As for wiring, you get those wires with the red, white, and yellow imputs on both ends and connect them to the red, white, and yellow imputs on your TV and VCR Don't listen to these people for making fun of you for using a VCR either, I still use mine all the time Hope this helps!

On the TV, there should be cable plugs that say output. Connect the cables between the TV's output and the VCR's input. Next you need to connect the cables between the TV's input and the VCR's output so that you can see what you're recording. Depending on how old your VCR is, you might have to play around with the channels on the VCR to make sure that the TV signal is going to the right channel. If you have the newer VCR, it's probably channel 3 or line in.

Simple. Have the cable connection go into the vcr first to the in connection and from there use the out connection to connect to the tv in connection. Now you have all the same channels on the vcr as you do on the tv. If you have a cable box keep the vcr and tv set to the proper channel 3 or 4. If you are working with an antenna it is the same. If you want to watch and record different programs at the same time you will need to split the antenna or cable connection so that each unit gets its own clean signal and tune each devise to the desired channel.

The only one who can help is Fred Flintstone. Actually all you need is to connect the cable cord to the VCR input and then another cable cord from the VCR output directly to the TV cable input. Then got to channel 3 and press power on the VCR. Look for the channel on the VCR and your program, put the Video in and press record
Mr. Happy
Depends upon the make & model of the VCR. Look at the VCR brand & make. Google that & hopefully you find a manual for it.
