What is a good brand name TV?

  • I'm looking for one for my husband for xmas. I can't afford to spend a fortune. I was thinking around $900. I'm looking for a flat screen HDTV. Anyone know a good brand for around this price?

    The Samsung LN-T3242H is a good choice, one of the few available in your price range oif $900. It's a 32" LCD HDTV. Anything bigger, or plasma, is going to cost over $1100. It has outstanding picture quality, the functions are easy to use, impressive sound, and is good at smoothing out film-based video content. Check out TV's at your local electronics store. There's nothing like being able to compare picture quality with TVs side-by-side. As for quality and reliability in general, Samsung leads the pack, followed by LG and Sony.

A great TV for this price is a Sony Aquis. This is a great quality TV. Also, an LG TV is really good.
