are you talking about an actually lcd or rear projection using lcd tech. LCD is ok if your buying a small tv but if your buying a big tv they are not the way to go. Rear projection is the best bang for your buck. Plasma is better but more costly. LCD biggest are 47 inches and have a small viewing angle which is a big minus

LG has just release a "hard liquid crystal" instead of the "soft liquid crystal". Just let your figure stroll down the screen and you will be a able to tell the difference! For "hard crystal" screen, you can view in many angles compared to the "soft liquid crystal" screen.
