I need help with connecting laptop to TV.

Samsung smart TV connection to laptop?

  • we have that samsung smart tv with internet, 3D screen and all these.. anyway.. the day we got that TV my old brother took my laptop and tried the thing which is connecting it to the screen.. so that every time i want to watch a movie from my laptop ,, i dont need cables to connect it to the tv i just choose the play to TV option ,, that's a good thing.. but the bad thing is that they can enter to my laptop documents like pictures, songs, videos and everything through the TV .. without my permission .. how can i disconnect it? or atleast set a password that whenever they want to enter my laptop an alert pops up and asks for my permission? ... plz i need help with that thank you :)

    Make a shared folder on the laptop that is only for the smart TV. Put any films and pictures that you would like to play on the TV in to that folder. Get your brother to change the TV settings so it only looks in to the shared folder. This will keep any other documents and pictures etc away from the TV.

That means the Samsung smart TV that you have is able to recognize your notebook. In that case, I suggest you create a separate folder that will be meant for watching movies and pictures or better still you may change the program from the setting icon.
