my son threw a toy at my 46' rca lcd flat screen tv. it started out as a little dot and its a line that is spreading across the middle of the screen. do you think it would the same to buy a whole new tv and pray it doesnt happen again or would it be cheaper to fix the screen.

Answer:
You could get a free repair estimate from a TV shop. But I think it's toast... but honestly I don't know. If you do have home insurance some policies might cover "accidents" like this. Take a look.
