Has anyone bought a refurbished lcd tv online? If so, would you suggest it?
-
I see a lot of people saying it's a bad idea, but it doesn't look like any of them have actually purchased a tv this way. I would love to hear someone with some facts or experiences to back up their statements instead of speculation. Thanks

Answer:
i don't buy anything that expensive without first seeing it in a store myself. I bought a refurbished 26-inch tube TV years ago online and it wasn't exactly how the seller described (missing s-video inputs). it was too much of a hassle to ship it back (TV was massive) to get a full refund, so we just kept it - but the retailer did give me a check for $100 as compensation.
