Why does my samsung led tv picture quality decreases when i sit very close to it?

  • I bought a new samsung led tv 32 inch !! i have dish tru hd and connected to tv with hdmi cable!! When i sit near the tv! The picture seems like blurry and cartoon type!! but when i sit far and i observe that picture quality is best!! why?? this happens in all led tv?

    All tv's have their viewing distance depending on screen size, for a 32 inch it is 8 feet.

I'm not a TV geek, so I'm going to make up an answer. The makers of the TV are aware that it is BAD FOR YOUR EYES to sit very close to the TVs, you prove the point that the buyers do not know that. So since TV makers know some people lack common sense, they made the picture quality look like **** when you're sitting in an unhealthy spot. If you need to sit THAT close then buy some glasses!

A picture on a TV is made up of little pixels. When you sit close to the TV your eye can see the individual pixels, this gives the picture a grainy look. As you move away from the TV, the pixels become harder to see until they completely disappear into a solid image.
