good answer by sri nandi i had used big tv of reliance and found to be good in both picture clarity and sound, regarding the serivce effeciancy ,i never encountered any problem so i can not comment about the same also they are enhancing all channels to HD (pl note that this is only conversion to HD but not true HD) dish tv is cheap but outdated technology, also i hear that their service back up is not good though i have no idea of videocon , people say that they provide comparatively more channels at a lesser monthly payment

SUN Direct in southern parts of India. Though it is available in some Northern parts also, do not go after it. Interruptions are the main cause. Dish TV is the cheapest in Northern India.
