Is it normal for a digital TV to need "rebooting" when it looses a weak (antenna) signal?
-
I have a new Element brand TV (digital) and it seems to be fine except when a signal gets weak (I am on an outdoor antenna). This is how it behaves... at first the picture and sound starts to break up on the weak signal... and that seems ordinary to me, but then if the problem continues, the picture freezes up and no sound whatsoever.. and at that point, the channel selector will not even work normally (very long pause to change channel.) So I unplug the TV and start over and then everything seems to work fine. Is something wrong, or could this be just normal for a digital TV?

Answer:
That's not normal for any DTV I've ever used.
