TV LCD Problem...Please help!!?
-
k, here's what happened: 1.) My grandma used windex to clean our 52'' HM95 Toshiba TV. 2.) It looks like there's a streak(like a half moon shape) extending from the left side to the right side with the middle part not visible. 3.) I tried to use a hair dryer to "absorb" the liquid, but now there's a dark spot with what looks like broken/torn LCD or light...like the Matrix system failure lol What I would like to know is: 1.) Is it dangerous to keep it like that? 2.) How can it be repaired? I have a pic here: (the circle demonstrates the area that looks like the matrix falling numbers haha) http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/nn227/soccogirl18/tvlcd.jpg Thank you so much!

Answer:
Never use windex on any typs of lcd screen. The windex ate the protective coating that was put on at the factory. It will cost you to get it fixed. Never use paper towel to clean them either. They are too harsh for the screen.
