I need help hooking my PC up to my high def tv.

Need help hooking up my tv to dvd to vcr, im an idiot?

• recently switched cable services and am on two week waiting list. In the meantime, I am trying to hook my tv to my vcr to my dvd so i can use all three. This is what I see. On the tv, in the front, are two holes for those colored cords yellow video and white audio. no place for red. Behind tv is cable cord. on the dvd player i have on the left side digital audio out coaxle then white L red R and yellow video out. The VCR has the cable (to the tv, I got that much on my own) 2 yellow video out, 1 white L out one white L in 1 red out one red in. I have done this before, but I cant remember the combo. I also have a strip that has OUTPUT red/white/yellow, 1 red/white/yellow, 2 red/white/yellow and Input red/white/yellow. When I did this last, I just had to switch the box to 1, 2 or 3 and I could choose between the dvd player and vcr. Please help, I have 2 weeks until cable and we are OUT of vcr tapes to watch. I was able to get it to work but not the dvd. Thank you!!

  you should have two av in-s and one av out on tv . connect dvd av out to tv av in 1. connect vcr av out to tv av in 2 also vcr av in to tv av out .
