Is there a way to connect to cable tv through my pc?

Connect my PC to my TV?

  • Is there a way, other than by cable, to connect my PC to my TV? Is there any bluetooth technology available or in development that would allow for a wireless connection (needless to say, both video and audio)? Thanks

    Wow these people need to read the question better. It's a relatively new technology, but yes you can send video and audio wirelessly to any TV. See my source below on just some cheap ways of transmitting the audio/video this way. BTW - you would need a video card that had an output of S-Video or composite outputs to do the 2 options below.

You will need a new video card. One with a s-video, or rca output. Currently, it is the only way to get a full speed , full resolution output to a tv. It cannot be done over usb, or firewire for example. BUT, if you have a high end tv, you can run a VGA cord from your pc to your tv. Some hdtvs have VGA input.

I don't think they have it wireless yet; but you can rest assured they will probably have it before I finish typing this technology is zipping right along.

Yeah ! I've used it. You need a specific cord , go to your local electronics shop and ask them for it.
