What is digital audio?

What is a good Digital Camera to take to a loud concert that shoots great HD movies with great audio?

  • Want a new camera as I went to a concert couple nights ago and I was luckily at the very front of the stage!! I too some HD videos However the videos I took, although in HD, have terrible audio!! For the most part all you can hear is this constant loud thumping and crackling noise!! I know I was right at the front of the stage and so it would be VERY loud but other peoples cameras who were near me had great audio videos. So what digital camera would you recommend that takes great photos but most of all great sounding and image quality movies when at the front of the stage?? The camera I have at the moment is a Fujifilm JV250

    As above is a good answer. However, why not try this. You can never get perfect sound from a built in mic, it just doesn't work. Try putting a small piece of sponge over the mic grill. This should help to soften the noise. It works against the wind noise which can badly affect digi movies.

I have a Canon PowerShot SD1400 IS and I LOVE it! I has awesome effects and I took it to the Taylor Swift concert, took a video with it and its pretty clear and not expensive! It takes high quality pictures and is pretty easy to function! The videos can be in HD as well! I absolutely am SO glad I bought this camera over anything else! Some action images can be a bit fuzzy, but overall I got some AMAZING pictures at the concert!! Here's a video I took with it!
