What camera should I choose?

What Digital Camera To Choose?

• Hi is there any one who owns or knows about the camera listed below, as i am looking to buy one but am not sure what one to go for i have read up on them and am still stuck any help would be most helpfull. FUJI FINEPIX S8000FD DIGITAL CAMERA FUJI FINEPIX S8100FD DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS E-410 + 14-42mm D-SLR DIGITAL CAMERA OLYMPUS SP-570UZ DIGITAL CAMERA PANASONIC DIGITAL CAMERA DMC-FZ18 These are all within my price range and i am stuck the main factor i like about these camera is that they are compact compared to Digital SLR as i used to own a Cannon EOS 10 and got fed up of lugging it around so could you please let me know your thought's on this please or any other cameras you can surgest many thanks Logixs69

  Its extremely unlikely that anyone here will have used all the cameras you listed, so what you'll get, at best, are replies telling you how good their camera is, but they won't have tried any of your other options, so how would they know? All compacts have shutter lag (the time between pressing the shutter and the camera actually taking the picture) its how they work, so action pics, including children and pets, will always be disappointing. The only advantage they have is small size and portability, in all other respects they are a poor second choice to any DSLR. I'm afraid you have to do your own research, go and try them at a photographic store if you can. Chris
