Help! How to use Built-in camera on a MacBook?

  • Got a new MacBook and I'm trying to figure out how to use the built in camera with and without msn messenger. Can anyone help? Thank you!

You should have a program called "Photo Booth" that can take pictures using that camera. Also, I don't really know how to use it with MSN only because I've never tried. But I know that you can use it with iChat (if you have AIM) and iMovie.

Sure, you can use Photo Booth to take photos in crazy different ways. Also if you use an kind of IM or iMovie it should automatically work.

without MSN messenger just use photo booth....with MSN just add video camera in the MSN program and it should find it

Look in iSight Help menu, it has loads of useful info. MSN Messenger for Mac does not support video. Use iChat, aMSN, Skype or some other Mac compatible audio/video chat client.
