It seems a fair price for a simple, point & shoot camera. Just try to keep your ISO low (100-200) otherwise you will have lots of 'noise', especially if using 'High Sensitivity Mode'. You will need to buy a Memory Stick Pro Duo card to be able to shoot high quality movies in VX Fine Mode (read your user manual). 1GB will allow approx. 275 shots and VX movies consume around 1GB per 12 minutes.
