Sony Cyber Shot Camera Problems.

Just got a new Sony Cyber Shot Dig camera...problems with the pictures not coming out clearly...?

  • My pictures come out blurry and a common problem is that the flash is washing out the appearances of faces and just everything in general. I wait until the light turns green to snap my picture and it's still not the best. I read the book saying you can adjust the contrast/brightness/ but then it's too dark. I had a kodak and loved it, till the screen went black. (old and heavily used camera) What to do? Any tips?

  • Answer:

use the option restore or reset in Ur cybershot..it'll bring all the settings in the digicam to its normal mode.. while taking pics wait till the object or subject Ur focusing becomes auto focused..then click the pictUres..keep ur digicam in auto light conditions mode..don't use flash in daylight..and do not keep Ur digicam in night mode..

You should have got another Kodak. Easy to use, great pictures. I hope you have learned something here today.

IMO you need to really READ & STUDY the Owner's Manual for your new camera. It is obviously different than what you were used to using. Spend a little extra time with the section that explains using flash. If your flash is "washing out" people's faces its probably because you're too close - or you have a setting wrong.
