Printing photos problem?

Photos printing with an orange tint?

  • My equipment: Canon Rebel t3i Kit lens (18-55mm) & 50mm f1.4 Photo Shop Elements 9 (for editing RAW and then saving to jpeg) Picasa (for organizing) My problem is that all photos taken with this camera are printing with an orange tint. I have used our home printer, my parent's home printer, and even worse I purchased a couple calendars on Mixbook.com and they printed with an orange tint as well - so I know it's not a printer problem. All pictures NOT taken with my camera turned out fine on the professional printed calendars. I'm at a loss of what to do... I have calibrated my PC (toshiba) screen and compared to my iPhone screen, so I know the colors on my computer screen are fine. Some photos seem worse than others, but ALL of them have an orange tint. Any ideas? Thanks!

Do the pictures have an orange tint SOOC? Or is it only after they print?

1) are you having Photoshop manage the colour? Unknown 2) have you compared a photo from a lab and one that you have printed on your photo quality printer at home? Yes you have Since you recently calibrated and profiled your monitor, you are on the right track, but you must know that the LCD monitors were never intended for adjusting the colour of an image The minimum quality a monitor should have is the ability to show a good sRGB work space gamut The monitors that the pros use, are able to work in the AdobeRGB workspace, but they cost over $2,5000, not something you may want to consider buying, at least not until you can generate the work flow that will provide you with that kind of money to invest in your hardware The only thing left to do is to use a custom white balance device like the Exrite Colorchecker Passport to nail your white balance Here is how that works http://www.xritephoto.com/ph_learning.aspx?action=webinarsarchive&eventid=1105&eventdateid=4929

Have you checked your camera's white balance setting?
