Canon VIXIA HFR10- how do I get videos on computer?

How do I get the videos I have recorded on my video camera transferred over to my memory card? I have sleeted that it be transferred and I can see on my camera screen that my videos on on the card. But when I connect it to my computer only the pictures i have taken will show up. Plus I used my memory card with a different camera one day and those videos won't show when I put it in my Canon video camera but they are the only videos that will load to my computer when I us the USB cord. Note: I have tried both connecting the USB cable and inserting the memory card in my computer with no results. Please help!
