My aim video chat doesnt work?

okay so i used to be able to video chat with my friends on aim, and then one day i wasnt able to do it at all. I downloaded aim 6.9 twice to see what would happen, but it STILL didnt work. and on my dell, i have a dell webcam manager and it says i can video chat from aim! i can video chat from meebo and from skype, but all of my friends have AIM, what can i do????
