How do you rotate a video?

Panasonic DMC-FX07 digital camera - how do I rotate video shot with it?

  • I have recorded quite a bit of video in vertical, widescreen mode and have so far been unable to find a program that allows me to rotate the video for viewing. I have learned that Windows Movie Maker allows video rotation but only supports the following video file formats: .asf, .avi, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv Unfortunately for me, the Panasonic file format is .mov (or QuickTime Movie format) which is not supported. I am new to 'Yahoo Answers' and will be looking forward to receiving any thoughts, comments, suggestions or answers to this question. Thank you in advance for your help. Bob

So, if I understand what you did correctly, you turned the camera on its side and video'd in a vertical point of view, so that on a normal screen, everything is sideways. I believe Ulead Video Studio will import Quicktime movie files. And it's a stable editor too.
