Whats wrong with my digital camera?

ok my friend broke my new digital camera she said she didn't do anything but i don't know anyways i need it to work tonight cuz i am going to a football game and then a dance for ymy high school. it turns on then Buzzes and turns back off like 5 seconds later...i tried many batteries and recharged mine but it stilll does that same thing. whats wrong with it ? it never buzzes b4.

I would first check to see if there is a trouble shooter in the manual. Might be something in the options that needs to be readjusted. Hope that helps.
