Can you make a digital camera into a webcam?

Yes, any camera that has AV out can in theory be a webcam but you will need extra hardware. Search around the internet for a AV capture card. An AV cable has red white and yellow connectors on one end, and usually a headphone looking connector on the other end that plugs into your camera.

well, a long time ago I made it with a phone but I forget the name of the program. But nothing is impossible ! Look in youtube and they will tell you what program do you need and how to do it ... I found out how to do it with a phone looking in youtube ! Good luck ! And be careful there are some programs infected with virus !

you can download videos you make to your computer but you can't use it as a live webcam. I believe there are adapters that can hook it up to your computer, maybe.
