Answer:
If you lost your cable, then get a card reader and take the card out of the camera and use that, its better and faster anyway, they're like 20 bucks and dont drain the batt's on your camera. When you plug in the card, go to my computer, and you should see it as a drive, just open it and then you can do a drag and drop into the folder of your choosing.

Plug the camera into your computer via the USB cable. If you have Windows XP, use the Microsoft Wizard to upload your photos. You will need to have the camera off when you plug it into the USB port. After it's plugged in, turn the camera on to the viewer and then the Wizard menu should pop up. You will find the photos in My Pictures after you finish downloading.

although I'm not familiar with olympus for most digitals usually there is a cable that plugs in an mp3 socket and part of the menu that says download. Plus you get a CD with the camera that operates the storage of the pix. If you don't have the CD but use MS XP operating system. It will detect the downoald and store the pix

just plug in the cable & the usb port. it's plug-and-play basis. if u're using windows xp, the system will automatically detect the new drive as a "removable disk" and prompt you to open the file. from there u can just copy your picture files and paste them in your hard disk. no need to use the olympus cd installer. the installer is for editing pictures for advanced users.

What you need to do is connect your camera to your PC with the cable provided, browse into MY COMPUTER and then into a newly displayed drive called REMOVABLE DRIVE or something of that sort. You will find your photographs inside one of the folders there. You can then select all those photos, then copy them and then open your MY PICTURES and paste there.
