Is the Kodak zi6 good?

What's a better cameras, the Kodak Zi6 or the FLip?

• What's a better cameras, the Kodak Zi6 or the FLip? including the software, which allows you to do more stuff and is easier to do it? Which camera has the best price and where is that best price? Any problems with the cameras them selves ? Do they hold up or are they a piece of crap?

  I've actually researched this a lot because I was debating about it, but I was actually debating between the Zi8 and Flip. I ended up getting a Zi8 and love it. I'll let you decide though. Zi8 first. Pros: digital stabilization (though not as good as optical), great HD quality for price, multiple settings to choose quality of video and frames per second, 5.3mp still images, very easy to use, fast startup time, flexible USB to connect to your computer so it doesn't break, can plug in an external microphone, has a macro mode for up close things. Cons: not very good in low lights, especially when taking still pictures, can't zoom when taking pictures, the zoom isn't very good, the bottom is rounded so you can't just stand it up to take a video, you have to prop it against something or get a tripod or just hold it. Flip. Pros: has a flat bottom so you can stand it up and take videos without a tripod, HD capability, pretty much same as Zi8, but you can't plug in an external mic. Cons: the USB connector is rigid, not flexible. That means if the Flip isn't exactly level with the USB port, you'll be putting pressure on the connector. To sum it up, they're both pretty good, almost the same thing, small differences. If you look at reviews online, the Zi8 usually wins. At Target, they usually have it. I'm not sure which Flip you want, but they have most, if not all of them. Also, their Zi8 prices are cheaper than the Kodak site. Kodak just raised their price to $200
