What are the new SLR cameras that record video?

Can all DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) cameras record video?

  • I have a channel on youtube and want to have a better quality video. I own a DSLR camera and am not sure if it can record video or not, google isn't very helpful to this question. I really don't want to buy a new expensive camera. Do you know if all DSLR'S can shoot video?

    You forgot to mention WHICH brand and model of dSLR camera you have...and besides, didn't it come with a MANUAL? Surely, the manual would give you ALL the information you need, regarding what it can and can't do? Even if you didn't have the manual, all you would have to do is go to the manufacture's website, look up your camera model in Support/Downloads and download the manual...

Video has only been available on new DSLR models introduced over the last 2-3 years. Canon Rebel T3 (aka EOS 1100D) is Canon's entry level with video Nikon D3100 is Nikon's equivalent. No. It's a new feature that I totally abhor. The dSLR was never meant to do video. If I wanted to shoot a video, I'd rather use a digital video camera that's equipped with better video controls.

Almost all of the DSLR cameras can record video. I only know Nikon D3000 can't record videos. Read reviews here for more detailed information.. http://www.topdigitalcamerassite.com
