Usb Component Broken on Digital Camera?
-
My digital camera was in my pc when my little son jerk it out and broke the usb part would i still be able to use it by transferring the pics to a sd card and then to a computer?

Answer:
Yep. Just use a card reader on your computer. Which is better than the way you were doing it anyway -- that way you don't run down your camera battery just to transfer files. Peace.

Or do what most of us regulars here do and recommend, us a usb card reader for all you uploads. I have a lap top on which the card reader quit right away - bummer. Oh well I've been using external readers for years so either way will work nicely.

USB card reader. That's the only recommended method of copying files from the camera to the computer.
