Fugi Camera "memory card" where can I get it fixed? Please Help!?

• I have a Fugi Camera. When I put the memory card in and try to take a picture it says "card error." Does anyone know where or how I can get it fixed? I have very important pictures on there and I don't want to lose them. Please help me.

  Oh, dear. Well first of all if the card is bad, then depending upon which manufacturer made it, it may have a lifetime guarantee. But for now, you need to recover the images on the card. You may have some success at a computer store that recovers data files from crashed hard drives and memory devices. Lexar sells a image recovery program which I have tested and it works well. Make sure you delete unwanted images on the computer after you have moved all the image files from your memory card. After you have made sure your images are all safely on the computer, format the card using the format feature on your camera. Carrying a spare 1GB or 2GB card will eliminate the need for deleting images from your memory card.
