Canon IXUS 50-Why are my videos saved on my computer without sound, but they play back fine on the camera?
-
The videos play back on the camera fine, but when I watch them on my computer there is no sound. They seem to be saved as THM and avi files, but neither works properly. I have reloaded my software many times but to no avail. What am I doing wrong?

Answer:
In similar cases i did following. 1. Burn a CD-R with the files. 2. Convert CD R to CDVIDEO (I use Nero) . 3. Convert VCD -cdvideo) to DVD. Then you will have a normally playable disc. Play it in your computer. I hope you get a sound.

It's saved, but your computer is missing a driver for the audio file. Go to Canon's website to download it.
