I would suggest Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS I take pictures all the time and need to share them in class with everyone. For a point and shoot camera this camera has great potential to take fast decent quality shots. I can then connect it to my P4 and show the class examples of how to take quick pictures. This works for me, because we often go around the campus and I can project anywhere on the white walls. I can also show the students the view I am seeing through the camera and the angles I need in order to make it work because of the projector. This is a battery intensive process and the Canon PowerShot ELPH doesn't die on me even though I virtually have it on and projecting the entire time.
