Are digital cameras with optical view finder Ok specially in daylight? Anybody have experience?

Digital cameras without optical view finder drains battery and LCD fades out in bright sunlight.

Answer:
always a compromise. You won't be able to use your LCD is full-on bright sun at certain angles. Some are better than others. You will find that it works OK to "frame up" a shot but you wont see many details.
