I am trying to transfer my pics from Kodak Easyshare to 'my pictures' on my pc but when I go into?

'my computer' there is no reference to the camera although I have downloaded both cd's

Answer:
I have an easy share and at times they are not easy. Plug in the camera to the computer. The computer should recognize there is an external device connected to it. If the computer does not automatically start a photo loader program go into My Computer and look for external devices and open it. Then you should be able to open the drive and transfer the pics to your My Pictures under a new folder that you choose. Don't get discouraged if you are having trouble with the camera. It took me a while to learn how to load my pics with my first camera. I cheated and when out and bought a usb device that I cane plug my memory card directly into my laptop and my desktop has a port specifically for SD memory card.

first, make sure that your computer recognizes your software. if your computer does not recognize your camera, it will not work. in that case you should try another USB port or unplug your camera and try the same port. you could also try to save your pictures to a specific folder on your desktop or in your pictures folder. that way you know exactly where you stored the files. also make sure that when you save/search for your files that you search "all files" and not just .jpeg or something like that.

is your camera hooked up through the usb? Or if you are trying to get the photo's out of your Kodak folder simply go there and look for the ones you want. I find it alot easier to click view and thumbnails to view photo's. Hope this helps if not you can ask me further questions I have always used Kodaks software so if I have misunderstood you question just let me know...

make sure that kodak easyshare is showing up in your task bar. then, when you plug your camera into your usb port, make sure it is switched off. switch the camera on once it has been plugged in. the one touch transfer button should then appear on your screen for you to start moving the pics. good luck.

Do you mean you have downloaded Kodak software cd? If so click on the kodak icon on your desktop and they should be in there or you need to load from your camera. If pictures are on a disc then they should download to my pics located in my docs. Or double click the drive in my computer to get the cd running. Hope this helps let us know
