I have a Sony Cyber-shot camera and it wont turn on to take a picture.brand new batteries..help!!!!!!!!!!?

it will turn on then turn off real fast..i can only go to the menu to veiw previous pictures ive taken..has BRAND NEW batteries! please what do i do?

are you using the right type of batteries? Maybe you should try litium not alkaline ones.

You may want to try connecting it to the computer and see if anything happens. Other than that visit the sony website and see if they have customer support.

it should have a small hole that a paper clip will fit into that may or may not say reset next to it...with good batteries installed push and hold that for 10-15 sec and try again to turn on...hope this helps...
