How do you email a video from a digital camera?

Nikon Coolpix Camera. How do i save the video to my computer and email?

  • It is a camera with video capabilities, dont know where the booklet is, and i want to save a video i took to my computer and email? When i try to do it i get directed to a program i have to pay for. Anyone know how to do it?

    You'll need a download device with a USB plug at one end, and at least one port at the other end that fits the card in your camera. You can get the download device anywhere computer accessories are sold, and they're cheap (most are under $20). If you have a USB port on your camera, use a USB cord and download directly from your camera. Whether you download from a device or directly from the camera using a USB cord, a download wizard should pop up as soon as you plug something into the USB port on your computer. If it doesn't, go to My Computer, then open whichever USB port you just plugged into. Drag and drop the folder in the USB port folder (probably F or G drive) into your My Pictures folder. You can also delete the pics from your camera right there on the screen the same way you'd delete any file when you're done to free up the space on your camera card.
