Sony Cyber Shot Camera Problems.

Camera problems! and i have to take pics tomorrow!?

• camera problems! and i have to take pics tomorrow!? when i turn on my Sony cyber-shot DSC-W50, i cant take pics and thescreen says ACCESS. i can play the show of my pics, tho. but when i wanna take pics i cant do it cuz then it says ACCESS and tecameral lens pops in and out until it tells me to turn the power on and off again. also, the lens is smudged. i am using the camera's high amount of internal memory to hold my photos. how to fix these problems?

  I am not familiar with your camera but I can tell you if you are storing lots of pictures on the internal memory, you probably do not have room for any more pictures and need to transfer them to your hard drive or a disc. As to the smudged lens, clean it with a very soft cloth, like a very used t-shirt you have cleaned recently. If the lens keeps going in and out and telling you to turn off the camera, it might be something more severe than just needing to make room.. it might be your camera is toast and you need to get a new one or have that one fixed. If all else fails you can get a cheap disposable camera for the shoot you have tomorrow. It is better than no camera at all. You might also try looking in the camera manual to determine what the messages mean.
