How do you Record a Good Quality Song?

What is a "good" camera to record a music video with?

  • Well I've been making alot of music lately and recently began putting it up on Youtube. I've gotten alot of subscribers really fast and wanted to make a music video for my most popular song. I know this probably isn't the smartest question ever but I really need some help choosing a good quality camera that I can make professional looking videos with. I want it to record in at least 1080p and I'm willing to spend up to $1000 if it can help further my career. I know it's more than just the camera, but I want to have a good start. Also to get an idea of maybe the type of quality and feel I want the camera to have please take a look at some of these Mac Millers videos. you can consider Canon VIXIA HF S30 Flash Memory Camcorder I purchased this camera in preparation for my trip to Italy. In regards to the camcorder features, it was was great. The clarity of the recording was good. The built in microphone was ok. Mainly I used it to record all the monuments and sites we had visited. In addition to the movie recording, it took good pictures of the places we visited too. There were a few images that didn't turn out too well but it could be because of a combination of poor lightning and my inexperience of using a device. For night viewing, it was good so long as there was enough light in a given area.
