What point and shoot camera takes the best video at concerts and nightclubs?

I used to own a Sony T200 and it took great video of djs at nightclubs as the sound wouldn't record distorted. Now I own a Canon 310HS and while I love the still pictures it takes, any video I shoot at concerts or nightclubs is unwatchable because the audio is distorted due to the volume of the music. Can anyone recommend a camera that doesn't distort the audio in nightclubs or at concerts that records HD video? Thanks in advance!

Answer:
All compacts are poor for shooting in low light. Their tiny image sensors, packed with too many pixels are not ideal. As for the sound distorting, super loud club music will overload virtually all compact camera microphones. A trick I've used is to put a piece of paper tape over the tiny pin hole microphone. Just remember to take it off after.

It's hard to find such camera if point and shoot but I can still recommend the Panasonic Lumix Lx5 or DMC-ZS9.
