What is a good digital camera for kids?

Looking for a digital camera for my kids, please help!!?

  • I'm trying to find an inexpensive digital camera for my 4 year old and my 8 year old. I'm having more trouble finding one an 8 year old would like because she's to old for the fisher price tough kid one I'm looking at for my 4 year old. If you have a great digital camera for your young child I would love to hear what you think of it. Also, if you have the Fisher Price Tough Kid digital camera I would like to know if you like it. I've heard mixed reviews on that camera. Thanks for your help!!

    I haven't purchased one for my kids yet, but Wal Mart has some for only $19.99. I think that's a pretty good price for a digital camera, it also has great designs like Spiderman and Disney Princess which includes changable faces. It comes with two additional faces. They also have carrying cases for the cameras for only $5.00!! I hoped this helped and I hope the kids enjoy it. They will have fun getting their own pictures developed ;-)

My daughter did just that for her kids! Here's some links to help you get started....Good luck you! I'm so happy when I see kids get into photography...Wonderful!!! The Fisher Price camera has been great for my two grandkids and it is teaching them already about lighting, composition, holding the shot steady...and it appears a bit about responsibility....go figure. Love it.

If you want a real camera try brand name budget models like Canon's A460, or Nikon's L11. Those are real cameras that take real pictures. They should retail for little more than 100.
