Which is the better camera? The Kodak C713 or the Sony DSC-S730?

Which is the better camera? The Kodak C713 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000X2BJDC/ref=s9subs_c5_at2-3095_g1-rfc_p?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-5&pf_rd_r=1VA9582N05BS7KQT41KG&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=139042891&pf_rd_i=468294) or the Sony DSC-S730 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-DSC-S730-Digital-Camera-Optical/dp/B0011U9U4K/ref=pd_sbs_ce_3). They have a similar spec (MP, optical zoom, display and the Kodak is only marginally bigger in depth) but i'm not sure which is the best one. I've always thought Sony cameras from the cybershot range were good (that said, i don't know much about cameras) but i would've thought Kodak, given their experience in photography, would make good cameras too. Any know which one is a better buy based on their experience and knowledge of both brands or (and even better) their experience of the specific cameras?

If these are your two choices.... you will save yourself a world of headaches by going with the Sony. I won't even comment about the Kodak... Hope you can read between the lines. :))

Hi Arion, On paper they are very similar cameras in terms of megapixels and optical zoom, but in actual fact the Kodak is by far the better out of the two. The Sony is a great price but does not compete against the fantastic picture quality of the Kodak. The Kodak is also a slimmer and better looking camera. So I would go with the Kodak and save the extra money to put towards a photo printer to go with it. Hope this helps you out, whichever model you decide to get I hope you have lots of fun using it!

sony because even if kodak are a photography company it doesn't mean they can't make a bad piece of technology and aren't sony masters of technology already? you can have an amazing plan but if it isn't built properly than it fails not that i've got anything against kodak but i'd get the sony
