What is the difference between these 2 Nikon DSLR lenses ?

Nikon 55-200MM F4.5-5.6G AF-S VR DX Black Lens AND Nikon 55-200mm f/4-5.6 AF-S VR DX Zoom-Nikkor Lens And are both of these compatible with the plain Nikon D40 ? Thanks in advance !

Answer:
Those 2 refer to the exact same lens. And it'll work fine with a D40. I use it with my D40 and it works fine. Note get the VR version of the lens. There's a cheaper non-VR version of the 55-200, but optical quality is supposedly worse. VR also comes in handy a lot with telephotos since they're easily affected by camera shake.
