How do you use a sony memory stick?

It has few similiar questions as mine which is wat use of memory stick duo adaptor(sony)??

  Are you asking why when you bought the card, it came with the duo adaptor? I work at walgreens photo, and those adaptor cards are used to fit your small memory stick into our machines to view and order your pictures. When memory cards first came out they were the size of the adaptor, but now they are so small, but a lot of digital photo machines don't have the smaller size, so that, i think, would be the only reason for the adaptor.
