What's a good camera for action shots?

  • I want a nice camera for action shots. I compete in showjumping with my horse, so I need something that snaps quickly and has good quality (the background isn't blurry / out of focus) like other cameras that I have had. I would prefer a Canon since I really like the color accent feature, but it doesn't have to be one of those.

let me first of all say that you need very good lighting conditions in order to not have blurry shots. I would recommend a camera with a good size lens because that will pick up a lot of light. I would recommend the Lumix DMC-FZ28 or the Lumix DMC-TZ7. I your looking for a cheap camera then I would get the Kodak Z1012. Just do a Google search on those cameras.
