Can i use a ISO 100 film in a film camera that uses ASA 100 film?

just bought a vintage camera which uses ASA 40 COLOR FILM ans ASA 100 B&W FILM... Couldnt find ASA 40 FILM SO TRY TO FIND ASA 100 BW FILM... BUT I ONLY FOUND SOME ISO 100 FILM ... IS THAT OKAY?

The first sheet that comes out is just a protective layer, like a blank top sheet, it gets thrown away. I would have mailed you but your email is closed. As far as this question goes, yeah it should be fine, they probably didn't make colour film any faster than that in those days. Sounds like fun.
