Why is my screen pink and purple?

Camera screen is pink! WHY?

  • yesterday i went to go meet One Direction at a CD signing at the mall and i dropped my camera because all these girls were practically on top of me. after i turned my camera back on the entire screen was pink! i looked through recent pictures that i took and the pictures were all fine but on live shoot mode the screen was persistently pink. you can kind of see what your taking a picture of but its just all in pink, and then when you take the picture the picture is all white. does anybody know how to fix this? btw i have a nikon coolpix s4000.. someone please help me quickly i need it by tomorrow afternoon!

    Sorry, but if you need it urgently you'll have to get a new camera (and be more careful with it - use the strap). Anything could have happened inside it from a loose cable to something actually breaking or coming loose. Not easily fixable anyway. These cameras are almost throwaway devices and it'll probably cost more to repair than to replace.
