What's the price of Nikon D60 SLR Digital Camera?

Digital SLR Cameras....Would Like Feedback about Nikon D60?

• I have a Nikon D60 and I absolutely love it and all the features...I am still learning about my DSLR and learning the ins and outs of the features of this particular camera. Who has purchased this model and what are your experiences with it and how well do you like it????

  The plus points that I found while using the camera- Sensor cleaning (with the air flow control) which slightly helps in keeping the sensor clean. The automatic LCD switch off when I bring my eye close to the viewfinder window. Long battery life. D-Lighting In camera processing SD card capable (I fear breaking the contacts for CF cards inside the camera while replacing the card but with SD I feel safe) The included kit lens is sharp and with VR. The features which Nikon advertised but didn't matter to me- Higher MegaPixels than D40 Expeed Processing (It's good while using the in camera processing but I prefer to click RAW and work later on my computer) Some annoyances- The camera felt a little small in my hands. No top LCD which disappointed me (maybe out of habit). Sometimes while using the camera in 'patchy' light situation like under a tree with not too many leaves and a bright sun on top, the LCD monitor kept switching off (when the LCD auto off by bring the eye close to viewfinder was activated) Once a lot of moisture got easily into the body on a hot humid day (but later, 24 hours in desiccator took care of that). Overall it's a very good and handy DSLR with some very nice features. I like it a lot and in fact have recently presented it to my wife since she hates working on the computer (post-processing) and has small hands. When I showed this answer to her, she says that I am biased for the higher models and it's a perfect camera.
