I NEED HELP CHOOSING A CAMERA?
-
I apologize for the obnoxious title, I just needed an attention getter, because this is urgent. (: I need a camera before the holiday season. I need a new camera since i absolutly HATE my current camera (Sony Cybershot DSC-T77) because it has no automatic flash, and the hi-speed setting turns the whole background black even in bright light. Anyway, I need help finding a new camera now. Here are some of my specifications that I need in a camera: NOT 100% TOUCHSCREEN! about $200 or less big screen Not to big and clunky, a nice skinny camera would be nice. Good image quality in-camera editing preferably comes in colors instead of just black/silver, but if not thats ok. (: And that is basically it! Thank you so much!

I have this one: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Kodak+-+EasyShare+12.4-Megapixel+Digital+Camera+-+Black+Olive/9464796.p?id=1218109501634&skuId=9464796&st=kodak The image quality is really great, and it's very sleek. It fits perfectly in my pocket and is easy to use. Lot's a features and it's 12.4 megapixels. Not to mention the great price. Good luck :) EDIT: Yes, the Samsung SL720 is slim, and very easy to use. We got my mom that one for her birthday and she loves it. The image quality is really great too, the colors especially. We used it for my homecoming and the photo quality was just as good as the image quality of my dad's far more expansive 16 megapixel camera.

Take alook at the Nikon Coolpix. I am using an older L11 and will be buying my daughter a L20. I think they are going for around $100. And you will also need a 2GB SD Card for storage.

I have a Nikon Coolpix S550 and it comes in a variety of colours. It's a really good camera - 10 megapixels for awesome image quality, and a variety of in camera editing. It's slimline, with no bits that stick out and fits in your pocket. It's perfect for capturing events over the holiday season, and has served me well through many drunken nights out! You can edit the way the flash is used with four different options, edit the exposure and it has many shooting modes. It also has a 5x optical zoom (when buying a camera look for optical zoom rather than digital zoom, as that means it does it in the camera rather than by blowing it up digitally) If the S550 is too much, all the cameras from the Nikon Coolpix range are really good.
