What's The Best Sports Camera?

Sony cyber shot dsc w120, whats a good setting for low light and sports conditions?

  • I have a sony cyber shot dsc w120, its a fun camera, but im having trouble shooting pictures where the subject is moving fast. Does anyone have this camera? whats a good setting for sports pictures, and / or low light? I mainly want to use it for taking pictures of horses indoor, but the pics are always blurry! any suggestions, thanks!

  • Answer:

You have to set you camera to a shutter speed of at least 1/250th second and pan with the action. You may have to increase the ISO on the camera and shoot at the lenses fastest aperture. Perhaps the largest issue will be the shutter lag all P&S cameras have to one extent or another. http://www.kenrockwell.com/tech/shutter-lag.htm
